Abstract

|
Purpose : This study was to evaluate the effects of group art therapy on Demented Old Adults’s problematic behaviors.
Method : The non-equivalent control group pretest- posttest quasi-experimental design was applied. An experimental group was organized with 9 subjects and a control group was consisted of 8 subjects. group art therapy was provided 23 sessions, one session was provided for 90 min per week.
Result : 1. Group art therapy was effective in decreasing on Demented Old Adults’ s problematic behavior. 2. Group art therapy was effective on emotional support.
Conclusion : Group art therapy was found to have an effect on Demented Old Adults’s problematic behaviors.
